SkillSelect Invitation Rounds
Current subclass 189 invitation data, occupation minimum scores, state nomination allocations and 190/491 nomination activity in one practical dashboard.
How to read invitation rounds
Departmental invitation rounds are mainly for subclass 189 and subclass 491 Family Sponsored EOIs. State and territory nominations for subclass 190 and state-nominated 491 are managed separately by each jurisdiction.
Subclass 189
Invitations are ranked by points. If scores tie, the earlier date of effect is invited first.
Subclass 190
A state or territory nomination adds 5 points and normally triggers the visa invitation after nomination.
Subclass 491
Regional nomination or family sponsorship adds 15 points, but nomination rules and invited occupations vary.

Minimum score invited is not a guarantee of future invitation. It changes with occupation demand, lodged applications, occupation ceilings, program settings and EOI competition.

State nomination allocation and use
Allocations are how many new primary applicants jurisdictions can nominate in the program year. Nominations used shows EOIs already nominated up to the Home Affairs reporting date.
Migration program planning
Planning levels help explain why invitation volume changes. They do not decide any individual person's eligibility.
